That is a very unique situation. I still don't fully understand what you are trying to do, and why yawing and flying sideways wouldn't accomplish the same thing. Regardless,Totally different résult.
Let's say you fly above a car and you want your framing in diagonal.
You'll need to tilt down the camera and use pan to get the rotation needed.
Yaw would make the drone fly off axis.
Having the pan control on the gimble would be much easier to get the proper camera orientation.
you can already press and hold and drag on the screen with your finger for panning.
"Camera pan with the gimble wheel and the rec mode button. Like the new zoom feature."
You can't add a combination key like the gimble wheel to the already dedicated record button, which is either on or off , without it shutting off the active recording.
