I had a mavic pro and was just astounded with its performance and video quality. I crashed it into the carribean ocean and am now looking to replace it with an M2Z. I don't need the Pro 2. However I'm on the fence if I should just get the air. I care at least as much about portability as video...

Thanks for the feedback. I've been flying it for a few months and I'm comfortable enough taking it around. I think the key take-away from today is to get better at hitting the Pause button when things start to get risky. Take a moment to collect my directional sense, and get out of the situation...

really? I may do this... I never liked the idea of someone being able to look me up by the quad's serial number, even though it would most likely be used for retrieval and not punitively.

I just started having this issue yesterday - after a moderate crash. (actually, i crashed twice that day, but pictures were acting fine after the first crash.) Prior to the crash, taking a picture was very quick and i never noticed such a long delay. What else could be wrong?

Has anyone done anything interesting/useful with the leftover foam from their Mavic cases? It's nice, dense foam that feels like it could be useful. But right now it's just garbage taking up space in my closet. Just looking for ideas. Thanks

I had the pygtechs, and never felt like i was able to get the front legs on securely. Sure enough, they fell off somewhere during flight shortly after getting them. I was able to get a refund on Amazon for them, and never got another set. EDIT: I should clarify I have the MPP.

Could have been due to the same event that caused these, and I just didn't notice... TBH I took these off right after it happened, i never tried flying with them like this. I kept them as emergency backups.

it's small, but it seemed to be making the MP squirrelly in the air. I still flew it several city blocks away from me in fairly strong wind successfully.

Thanks, I'm aware of the feature, but I have a Cardboard now and would like to try fpv without spending any more money (yet).

Would people say the quality and reliability of Litchi has improved in the year since this thread went dark?
