Did you have an ID no. / Telephone number / Address written on the drone? In a situation like this it could prove fruitful later if someone finds it whilst out walking! p.s. sar104 - another impeccable crash report as ever!

Generally speaking time-lapse of real life work best at 2 second intervals. You can always ramp the video later if you want it to play faster, but having the extra frames is a real bonus. Would have made your video 20 seconds long - btw, your maths doesn't add up if you only flew for 16 minutes...

As with all things digital, a colour cast in a filter is irrelevant if shooting RAW and colour grading afterwards. You can even adjust for it easily with jpegs. The only issue would be a lack of colour / density uniformity across the field of vision. Then you start getting into problems. Tiffen...

Wrong. So what is a camera profile if not a LUT? I've spent 10 years in colour management. Trained in Switzerland by X-rite. I'd hope that I know a thing or two. Michael

I think you will find that you are wrong. A colour look up table is called a CLUT! A LUT can be for anything. Including sine cosine and log values... So long as the info is available, in a supplied chart or as an embed in the file itself, the info can be extracted and used by any enabled...
