Yeah, there are many Wunderpilots here who missed the deal (or only bought one and wish two now) who would love refunding you $49 and pay for your shipping.
That they preset the home page to att.com (trivial to disable or change) in Chrome is now called wrecking and bloatware?!

It's only possible to disable all app updates. You can do that in the Google Play Store here:

6. I really want to use this phone with my Mavic but I'm too lazy to read the entire thread because I can't figure out how to make it work.

I don't remember buying hundreds of accessories for Mavic but good folks at my CC company send me a printout so I can refresh my memory.
