Sometimes drones go over cars,
but sadly today something different happens.

I was planning my photogrammetry mission on Map Pilot app.
I was concentrated on setup percentage of overlap, altitude and similar aspects,
whem my uncle approched me to ask me something with his car.

Sadly he passed over my glorious Mavic pro.

Now I'm crying...

Is there much damage? I see one broken prop and maybe something to the front of the left rear arm pivot but I would have expected to see a lot more than that.

Me too. Dang. (Im very empathetic). Hope he’s a rich uncle. 🤷🏻 Sorry for the loss. Godspeed, Droniac

Ouch! That is most unfortunate; my condolences, I do hope your uncle would be willing to pitch in.

Sorry for what happened. However. you can get a used unit cheap since you have multiple accessories, may be worth it or now you have a good excuse for an upgrade. :-)

I can never understand how people run over something the size of a drone or bigger! A responsible driver certainly should see something that size and avoid it.

Hope your Uncle learned a lesson and is buying you a new drone.

So sorry for your loss.
I think the comment find a good 2nd hand aircraft, basic klt or flymore kit, and continue with all your accessories is a good one.
Or try DJI, the might send you a refirb aircraft for a few hundred US$.
Hey, the M1P is still great in the air and for mapping missions.
Good luck.

Definitely broken:
- impossible to take out microSD card
- rear right arm bent
- back cover damaged
I will tear it apart and resell decent pieces as spare parts for other pilots.

I have a lot of accessories: many batteries, recharger, case...
I'm so sad.
Lemon aid opportunity! Now you have an excuse to buy yourself a Mavic Air 2S
