Since being new to this forum I've seen a lot of question about whats the best Android tablet for DJI go app.So what I decided to do was help android people with a base line of what to look for in Tablet for the app to run smoothly. Android has a lot of fragmentation so its kinda hard to find the phone/tablet to use. I hope this helps new and old people in finding a good tablet or phone.

Minimal Specs
CPU 4 cores Minimal with 1.3Ghz speed (anything with 2 cores in android will be an issue)
(Recommended)
Most Snapdragon 800 series are found in phones
Snapdragon 800, 801 and 805 (2013/14)
Snapdragon 808 and 810 (2015)
Snapdragon 820 and 821 (2016)
Snapdragon 835, 845 and 850 (2017/18)
Snapdragon 412 and 415 (2014/15)
Snapdragon 425, 427, 430 and 435 (2015/16)
Snapdragon 429, 439 and 450 (2017/18)
Snapdragon 610, 615 and 616 (2014/15)
Snapdragon 617, 625 and 626 (2015/16)
Snapdragon 650(618), 652(620) and 653 (2015/16)
Snapdragon 630, 636 and 660 (2017)
Snapdragon 632, 670 and 675 (2018)
Snapdragon 710 (2018)

Ram
I believe that anything with 3GB or More will do, that should be plenty enough room to run additional apps with DJI go App.

Screen Resolution
1280x800
and above
(Recommended)
1920x1080

I hope this helps

I maintain a list of Android (and Apple) devices that DJI drone owners recommend here:

Best Tablets and Phones for DJI GO (Updated Daily)
In case no one noticed, except for the CrystalSky Ultra, the Samsung Note 8 has the brightest screen. I have one. Its fast too. The battery seems to last a good while too. I and a friend fly drones. This past Sunday, we were flying and I noticed that his iPad Mini 4 screen was almost unusable. You can barely see it in the sunshine - and the sun was at a lower angle (less Sun). My Note 8 was not as bright a my CrystalSky Utra, but it was useable.

Hi Msinger
Im sorry if i stepped on any toes your list has more details than mines no doubt about it. I just wanted to give a base spec line especially with the CPU thats's the biggest factor, even tho some tablets have 4,8 cores they might suck so I wanted to keep it simple unless you might add that to the list?

No worries. I was just posting my list as another resource to use when selecting a mobile device. There are lots of them available and people always wonder what other pilots are actually using.

It's important to bear in mind that DJI Go performance can be inconsistent which means you can have a high spec phone which easily surpasses the requirements but performs poorly. On the other hand you can have very low spec devices which have no problems, you simply can't go by the hardware on its own. Msinger's list up above is the best collection of user feedback on devices and when choosing an Android device I'd always read up on how that specific device works rather than assuming it should be fine.
