When I ordered mine back near release day, I opted for the next-day express shipping and received it in 2 days rather than one. Perhaps that is a better way of shipping it to hurdle customs, or I just got really lucky.
Must be very frustrating, fingers crossed you get oneStill haven’t received mine. Had one from DJI ordered in October, spent quite some time in customs in ny before they shipped it back to DJI. Ordered from DronePoint in December. Hit buffalo customs on the 18 of December and there it sits. A return to Sender request was filed on the 7th of January, but it still sits in the warehouse. Frustrating.
Have you had any luck getting your drone delivered? I have one sitting in customs in Cincinnati, with little to no movement. It was ordered on Dec. 10, 2024.I reached the customs tonight. Was told there is a ban now on DJI and DJI drones have to have a deep search. Part of the problem is DHL is not providing the proper paperwork, so they have to investigate the item and wait for documents from DHL. He will contact the office that has my shipment and hopefully they can get it released in the next day or two. If not I need to call back again. Hope to hear something this week.
Two days later I received a notice that it was being sent back to China. I called the customs office to ask why and he said because of child labor laws, they are all banned and being returned. I have other sources following up with DJI contacts to see if we can find out more about this.Have you had any luck getting your drone delivered? Thanks for the update, even though it does not bode well for my order of a Mavic 3 Pro.Two days later I received a notice that it was being sent back to China. I have searched around and found that Drone Nerds shows them in stock. I talked to them. They informed me that the have another warehouse in China, they have their orders shipped to their warehouse, then ship them to the US. They informed me that it is a paperwork issue with DHL, they have to dot the I's and cross the T's, and provide certain information, and they are dropping the ball on that so direct orders being shipped thru DHL are not coming through.
I ordered one through them as they said they have stock in their China warehouse and I will be notified when they arrive. He said it should be less than two weeks. This may not be the best way to get them, but if it works it works.
I will post here if it does come through and I receive it.

I ordered a refurbished unit, that they showed in stock on their website and they took the order and my money. They then emailed saying they did not have them in stock (the website still showed refurbs in stock for about another week) and when I pushed them, they said they would ship it from China. Basically, I put this on DJI and U.S. Customs. What a mess.
I just received an email from UPS, they have received a shipping order to be picked up. Will see if there are any custom problems with UPS??And DHL
