Any Ai3 3 s arriving in the USA?

I'm now trying to use my EIN tax number from my business to get it through customs, but since my personal name is on the invoice, not the business name, I'm not sure it will work. At least both addresses are the same. Let's see.

I used my EIN number from my business and it was released by customs. Thank God it was the same delivery address, not sure if it would have made a difference. I should have it soon.

I used EIN multiple times along with copy of 1040 tax return that shows SSN. Nothing seems to work and it appears most of the problems are with DHL failing to send information to customs or just simple incompetence at all levels.

Wait until that nasty import bill comes...this is what US is doing.. Money grab..

Well, that certainly proves that US customs is selectively applying their heavy handed assault on private purchasers.

It has been 10 days, dozens of phone calls, many hours wasted with DHL robots (human and digital) and many documents emailed with nothing delivered and no "customer service" return calls.

For anyone in US looking to purchase the air3s fly more combo kit, the DJI eBay store has it in stock.
The only disadvantage with this method is the tax eBay will collect.
That was the reasoning I used in the purchase from DJI.
If I thought my tax money that I shell out to our system was being used appropriately, I would contribute more.
I can always dream!

Ordered mine on the day it was released. (Oct 14) got mine on the 21st. A day earlier than originally expected.

The last I checked $1,600 was the personal exemption threshold for U.S. Customs. Therefore, when possible, try to keep your $$ amount below that number. Place a couple of separate orders if you need to. That has been my experience anyway.

The one i ordered is 80 miles away after 4 days with no customs hassles. Came through NY to OH to OK to AR.

It looks like Miami and/or DHL are locking down the shipments and DHL will not respond to inquiries. My drone has been locked up for 2 weeks so far. It is probably easier and faster to get fentanyl through customs in Miami.

Keep us posted.

Today I got DHL status update to call DHL re: my 11/4/2024 order. DHL representative said package will not be delivered nor returned to sender and to contact sender (but they can't put that in writing for me).

Requesting refund from DJI Store (should I be optimistic or pessimistic?)

Mine made it in 6 days with out Customs hassle. It would have been in 3days bur DHl handed it of to the USPS for the last 80 miles just before the holiday weekend.

I got a followup email today from DHL Tuesday asking for any of the following information to forward to US Customs to release my package:
  • Evidence mapping the entire supply chain, and transport along the supply chain, including which entities were involved at each stage;
  • Complete list of all workers at an entity subject to the rebuttable presumption in the production of the imported goods, including:
    • Evidence to demonstrate how and to whom wages are paid at each workplace;
    • Evidence to identify whether each worker comes from Xinjiang, as well as the worker’s residency status;
    • Evidence to demonstrate that output is consistent with the documented workers, including:
      • number of workers in each job category, total volume of material or goods input, and total volume of outputs of materials or goods; and,
      • documents relating to hours worked and daily production output of goods.
  • Evidence that none of the workers who were involved in the production of the product were a) recruited, b) transported, c) transferred, d) harbored, or e) received with the involvement of the government of China or entities on the UFLPA Entity List. Evidence should specifically address the controls each entity has in place to ensure that all workers are recruited voluntarily;
  • Evidence that reliably demonstrates that every worker from Xinjiang is working voluntarily, and without menace or threat of penalty, including credible evidence that demonstrates for each such worker that:
    • recruitment to work, including recruitment to any job fair, was fully voluntary;
    • recruitment and continuation at the job were and are not subject to government or entity coercion;
    • recruitment was free of any forced labor indicator (see Strategy Section II), including detention, prior detention or threats of detention, detention or threats of detention of family members, or forced transfer of land to the government;
    • transport from Xinjiang was voluntary and free of any forced labor indicator, including government surveillance or control of worker movements during transport from Xinjiang;
    • transfer to the entity was voluntary and free of any forced labor indicator, including government surveillance;
    • living and working conditions at the entity are free of any forced labor indicator, including government surveillance or reporting by the entity to the government, restriction of movement, or required activities such as political, language, or cultural classes; and,
    • receipt of the worker by the entity was undertaken voluntarily
I requested DJI cancellation and full refund this morning. DJI Store support said they escalated it to the logistics team and all I can do is wait. Will give it another week before disputing transaction with Amex for non-delivery and non-refund if they con't credit my card. Caveat emptor

This sounds like either a DHL thing to CYA or else the government prompted them. Either way it is a significant roadblock since it is impossible for the ordinary customers to agree to those things. This put the customer square in the middle of the "conflict" in an attempt to force the issue one way or another and is yet another twist to be dealt with. Ultimately it's all stems from one and exactly one source and where the blame should be squarely placed: your government.
