Any Ai3 3 s arriving in the USA?

Yeah, I contacted DHL this afternoon (chat); total waste of time here, too. I normally go the BestBuy route, but had to use DJI Credit on this one. Towards the end of 2017, I bought a GoPro Karma at BB; saw the writing on the wall and exchanged it for Mavic Pro the next week. Never looked back...

I ordered the Air 3S Fly More Kit only and placed a separate order for my accessories. So, my drone delivery only had one item and delivered in 4 days with no delays. Did you all with the delays include accessories with your order? Just curious.

One item only (RC 2 fly-more), still stuck in Cincinnati after 1.5 days. "Stuck in Cincinnati", that would make a good song title.

Either customs or DHL are playing games with these shipments. After being told by DHL that someone would contact me with information on what customs are waiting for there has been no response. Local customs office says DHL has a dedicated CBP team to handle imports on arrival. This sounds like a political scam being pulled on American buyers of DJI products. I have a business that imports many products from China and have never experienced this type of handling.

Update: I personally visited the Fort Lauderdale CBP office at the port this morning to ask them to inquire with Miami about why the delivery is being held and what further information they are waiting for. All they would do is provide a phone number in Miami which is disconnected. A search online for more detailed information lead to a phone number for the CBP office at DHL Miami airport. That office claims they can only provide information to DHL. Of course it is impossible to contact a human being at DHL, their firewall is stronger than CBP. So the question is which group is responsible for the delay of DJI deliveries to some, just some, US destinations and why?

Not mine; it shipped from China. I had to order directly from DJI since I used a DJI credit. Still no word from Cincinnati Customs. :|
Mine is stuck in customs in Miami because they need a tax number or social security number (items over $800 from China) and I'm not American. DHL basically told me if you are a foreigner in the US you cannot order.

That's a tough situation. Did you use a DJI Credit for the purchase or CC/other form of payment?

Mine stuck in NY Customs. I told DHL and DJI To return I don't want it and disputed my CC.

I used PayPal
OK. In that case, since you didn't use a DJI credit, the likely worst-case scenario is that DHL will send the drone back after the 10-day (?) CBP holding period expires. DJI will then issue a refund back to PayPal. Purchase from BestBuy, etc. at a later date after all of this import-blockage crazyness passes. You could look into the possibility of obtaining a temporary non-commercial import permit, but I think that's a long drawn-out process.

Good luck with the business EIN option. Maybe that will work, especially since address is the same.

Check out...

I used this tactic yesterday multiple times, and it worked. Yesterday afternoon, the drone was stuck in Cincinnati Customs. Now, it's sitting on the desk beside me; it got here a couple hours ago.

I was concerned that the CBP inspectors might open the shipping box and DJI box, but they apparently didn't do that. The shipping and DJI boxes appear to be un-harmed. Shrinkwrap is still on the box; green seal is intact.

Good luck to everybody!

Mine came through Boston too but it arrived in the US in NY. Customs was NY. The DHL hold is more like waiting for next movement.

Just as an update I ended up ordering the wide angle lens last week, it shipped on the 24th from China and was delivered by DHL on the 29th. DHL delivered it to the wrong address but it didn't get hung up in customs.

I'm supposed to receive mine any minute now it's driving me nuts. Came in from the LA side to the Cincinnati hub for Customs then Kansas City and now out with the Courier.

They might not be paying that much attention to the smaller packages

Very possibly, though the physical package was actually pretty large. At least the size of the box the Neo came in, maybe larger. The marked value would have been low though.
