Any Ai3 3 s arriving in the USA?

Ordered 10/21 and just delivered yesterday. No customs hold in Atlanta prior to being delivered to me in San Antonio.

Hi Everyone, , has anyone actually received their Air 3 s since the US BODER ban? DHL sent me an email today to upload a lot of proof about me. SS number W2 etc. Their system ONLY 2 of of 3 docs .. What a horror. What will my SS and W2 do to get me my package when US BORDER Protection banned ALL DJI orders entering the USA ?

I guess the time my CC statement arrives to me Ill either ask for refund or dispute the charge and just keep my Mini 4 and air 2 s x2 .. Soon to say BYE BYE DJI this seems like the beginning the their END ..

I sent DHL my SSN. That was scary but it appears to have been legitimate. The SSN was all DHL/customs needed apparently as my 3S arrived, albeit, five days late.

I reported this elsewhere on the forum....but thought I'd also share it here.

I ordered a DJI Air 3S (and extras) on October 19. Received drone today, Saturday October 26th. Looks like it went through Customs very quickly. I didn't need to provide any extra info to them.

Now, something occurred to me today regarding DHL & U.S. Customs. I have had a number of items shipped to me from outside the U.S. over the last few years.

I remember having to provide a Social Security and Tax ID number using a DHL form for one of those shipments.

Being that my DJI shipment wasn't delayed in customs suggests that my personal data is still in DHL's system. It makes me think that those of you who had to submit your SS and Tax ID for recent drone purchases may be good to go with U.S. Customs henceforth.

Ordered mine on release day and it arrived 6 days later , actually arrived a day earlier then what DHL said .

Anybody here have issues getting their Air 3S to clear Customs at the Cincinnati hub? Ordered mine on the 24th; it's due here in Marietta today. I searched all of the posts here; saw no references to Cinci. The last cryptic email update I received from DHL said "Processed for clearance at - CINCINNATI HUB"; hasn't changed since 8:08 PM. Maybe there's no swing- or graveyard-shift at that location.

Not mine; it shipped from China. I had to order directly from DJI since I used a DJI credit. Still no word from Cincinnati Customs. :|

Air3s isn't even listed on amazon for USA yet, my guess is that the big custom holdups are for Amazon, best buy etc...

where are you seeing a listing on amazon or best buy? I know some smaller company and DJI directly got some through

I bought directly from DJI, so not looking at Amazon or BestBuy. Numerous people on here have managed to get Air 3S. I think at least one mentioned that he got his off of Amazon, but that was quite a few days earlier. It's just a weird situation all the way around...

It is now 1 PM on October 28 with delivery claimed to occur "By End of Day" October 28.

Good point; I just now perused this thread, but no references to Amazon. I might have seen it on the DJI forum. BTW, just received the dreaded "Your shipment ########## has been placed on hold temporarily" email.

probably not but maybe one day you will; you never know. maybe they send the bill by email and it looks like spam and you never pay it and years later, you find out it is in tax collections ready for garnishment. ok, j/k but I wouldn't have put my name on that drone with c.b.p. personally I would have cancelled and re-order at a later date when the coast is clear. don't forget, stefanik is watching.

Mine sat in Phoenix 100 miles north of where it was supposed to land for 4 days. Took a day sitting before the tracking changed to on hold. It then got listed as being turned over to a “Third Party Agent” for the rest of its journey. Never figured out who that was. Contact to DHL was a total waste of time.
Next time, I’ll just wait until Bestbuy has new product on a shelf and pay the tax.
Advantage there is a very easy return policy.
