I was in the market for a new editing rig last month.
I actually settled on a gaming laptop as it has all the hardware needed to edit hi res video.
I have no interest in gaming but the computer is pretty powerful.

I have been using Corel Video Studio Pro 10 for editing.

I am looking at the dell desktop that is for gaming and can handle 4k.
Do you edit ? If so what do you use ?

I am in Western CT. I fly over Candlewood lake and places on the Housotonic.

I'm from Wolcott. I just got into drones, and have only flown by my house. Im planning on taking it out to the reservoir, there's always people ice fishing out there. Let me know if you're nearby.

Not a Mavic Pro owner yet but I'm waiting on Tuesday's 01/23/2018 announcement from DJI. That'll be the deciding factor between purchasing a Mavic Pro or whatever new vehicle they announce if it'a along the same lines of what I'm looking to purchase.

In response to what others are asking regarding editing rigs, I currently have a 2017 Macbook Pro 15" with Final Cut Pro X. I'm still learning how to use Final Cut.

Looking forward to contributing to the group once I receive my gear!
