DJI Dongle 2 + EU SIM Roaming in the U.S. => unlock 4G for Americans?

As we all know the Dongle 2 only works in European countries + China. But what if you insert a (say) British or German SIM into the Dongle and try to fly it in the U.S.?

- If the drone itself checks the location via GPS then yeah it’s not going to work
- If however it checks for the country of the SIM + checks whether the drone has a European IP (which you will, as all roaming SIMs route their traffic through their home countries), then it should work

There's some really cheap virtual operators that are technically in Estonia that charge like $0.25/GB for US roaming. Usually it excludes 5G but the dongle can't handle it anyway so nothing lost.
