I doubt that'll be the case. The only thing that needs to be in the gimbal is the sensor and the lens, the rest of the electronics that make it a camera are inside the body. Different sensors will require different processors and software.
That's not to say that a removable camera module isn't possible, but I suspect it would result in a major redesign of the aircraft and it doesn't look like that's happened for the
Mavic 2. If you watch a teardown of the original MP, the image and video processor chips, RAM etc. are on a board at the bottom of the aircraft along with the downward facing sensors. All of that would need to be relocated to the front end of the aircraft with the gimbal, and then the whole body would need to be rebalanced to allow for the now heavier front end to prevent the forward pair of motors from being overstressed compared to the rears. They'd likely need to reposition or redesign the forward obstacle avoidance cameras too. Not only that, but packaging this into a user-friendly removable module would create extra weight.
