So the inevitable happened to me last week and I crashed my drone breaking my dji mini 2 arm and my gimbal has started shaking up and down which is the more pressing issue for me. DJI fly will not let it recalibrate and I cannot rotate up or down. I contacted DJI support, but they were very unhelpful and told me to send it in to them. However, if I did this the cost of the repair would be the same or more than purchasing a new drone. I am looking for any ideas or suggestions you guys might have.

There is a good chance that the ESC module is broken as its a very weak link on the Main Board. I have seen this behavior when the Mini 2 is submerged under water and its always the ESC module compromised. If you were to send it in , they are most likely going to replace the Main Board.
