Does DJI Care Refresh counts as an Insurance?

Hello, I recently found out that you need insurance to fly in Spain, even if it's recreational.
I have DJI Care Refresh, does that count as an insurance for the AESA/EASA?

I don't know, but I suspect not. I imagine the requirement for insurance is to cover damages your drone might cause.

No, refresh is to cover damages to your drone, not the damage your drone might cause to others which is what is mandatory.

You need something that covers property damage or injury to persons.

Warranty is not the same as insurance.
insurance is created to protect you from liability.
Warranty is created to protect your investment ( or expenditure).

Comprehensive insurance and other riders provide extra benefits: medical, legal fees, etc etc.

Flying in another country should be done carefully. Many laws, many risky assumptions.
Especially if you are a professional Videographer.

Personal insurance isnt Business insurance.
Rule of thumb: They will try to deny you unless you are a bona fide claimant.

I worked for an insurance company. They want your money and sell you fear and promises.
Get a local agent who knows the drone market there.

If you are a tourist and carry a mini, then call the nearest consulate, just to be sure.

Sorry, I forgot to mention that I am in Spain already, and always flew my drone here. But here the laws are changing every month so recently they introduced the mandatory insurance.
