Does dji have unofficial repair company I sent my drone to the wrong place I am very displeased with dji

It later came to light that it was NOT actually DJI he was corresponding with just a company using DJI's name on their website & marketing (which is perfectly normal and allowable). @Arce101 simply didn't pay attention to what he was doing and sent his aircraft to someone he didn't know anything about.
How is it "perfectly normal and allowable" for an independent 3rd party to illegally appropriate the trademarked business name of another company??? Trademark lawyers sue businesses every day over this illegal practice. The only legal way to do so is to use the work "independent" in the business name, so that exactly what has happened cannot happen. The test is whether there is any possibility of confusion, where the consumer might believe they are actually dealing with DJI because of the business name. If this entity is not authorized by DJI to use DJI's name, they are committing trademark infringement.

I completely agree with this. Their website in no way passes the "moron in a hurry" test. They call themselves "DJI Drone service" and use the DJI logo (see attached pic). There is no mention in their website that they are not part of, or affiliated with, SZ DJI Technology Co., Ltd. So one would easily mistake them for DJI. Furthermore, look at this sentence from their "About Us" section - "we pride ourselves with our DJI-certified technicians that adhere to the highest levels of training that are constantly updating by DJI". If that is not meant to decieve, I don't know deception at all.

Hey can someone post how I get those flight logs off my phone again just got my computer working so I couldn’t post the flight logs
 
Yes I did but the scam artist sent it back without my lightning cable and my gimbal cover ? at least I got it back
 
@Arce101 Hit them up - ask for it to be returned - don't let them snag free stuff - but, you can cut your losses and move on. Lightning Cable and a Gimbal Cover are minor things.

When the unofficial repair facility is illegally using the trademarked DJI name in a deliberate effort to appear authorized, they are already scamming everyone in the process of customer acquisition. Expecting the company doing this to thereafter be ethical and honest during any repair would be foolish.

Just because you sent your drone to them without knowing who they were doesn't make them a scam artist.
Oh and them stealing my stuff makes them five star ?

When you send any item in for repair you never send accessories. They're too easily separated and you probably didn't list them as being included on the packing slip.

But those nefarious scam artists sure showed you, paying for FedEx shipping both ways to steal $10 worth of gimbal cover and USB cable. Quite a business model they've got going there.

They are kind of like honest liars. If you catch them in the lie, they will fess up, and make good. I agree with your point that they made amends in the FedEx shipping return, but did a lousy job of keeping track of included accessories, which should not have been included, and had he really been dealing with DJI, they would have made that clear before shipping. I suspect that if the OP asks for the missing accessories, they will also be located and returned.

Did you get your cable and gimbal back? our apologies as this was human error and we have taken the correct measures to ensure this doesn't happen again.

BTW we stock millions of dollars worth of DJI and not looking to steal your lightning cable and Gimbal Cover.

Also if you can post how DJI handled your repair and if your bird is airborne once again would be great.

I don't see that it has..Will get it out asap as this is the first i'm hearing about your missing cable and gimbal cover. Plz confirm your repair ticket number was 226456 to ensure it gets sent to you and not another client.

I think the fact that your logo looks like that of DJI's is misleading; and I think you calling yourselves dji drone service is even more misleading. Now, I have no knowledge of what you do. You may be a very reputable company. But that doesn't make your logo and branding any less unambiguous.
