Dronelink for Mavic Air 2 is out!

Downloaded and I used it today for $20 it's pretty incredible you need to take the time to understand what you're doing so you don't crash your creature thank you for the heads up since I lost my parrot anafi I've always wanted software similar thank you

He's gonna put you on ignore now lol.
Actually I think I unintentionally ran him off...sorry if that's not okay but I found him very rude and tried to let him know we don't tolerate jerks...hope I wasn't out of line.

I've been a tester for the MA2 Dronelink beta and it's awesome news to hear it's officially ready for prime time use!!

For anybody who doesn't know what it is, in a nutshell it gives (Virtual stick) support for waypoints, follow modes, orbits, mapping, and basically full automation for pre-planned missions on drones that don't support those modes via the manufacturers native app.

It is dependent on DJI's mobile SDK support. So it turns a drone like the original Mavic Mini with limited native features into an absolute beast with may of the features that were only available on the higher end drones.

It's basic hobbyist package is only a one-time payment of $20.00 (At least it was last time I checked) and there are a pile of Youtube videos set up like an intense training course explaining the core concepts.

Whilst the learning curve is steep, the power of this component-based approach to automation is almost without limit. You can pre-plan missions on an iPad, computer or phone (Web-based) then run the mission over and over again in the native app. There are also pre-set templates too if you're more into the Litchi/Mavern style of app.

Unbelievable value and great software.

Please support these guys, they rock!! The team at Dronelink are always accessible via the forums and they allow feature requests too.

I wouldn't be without it, and now that my MA2 has full support I'll be exploring it even more!!
curious, does the software support VR? Thanks.

I just ignored user.

I'm looking for actual feedback from actual users. not to endlessly research something.
people who post useless things like that are what drives others away from forums like this...
Thanks for anyone who uses this and posts a reply. That's how sharing information works. :)
One of our clients uses the Drone Link to Program a mission to take 4000 Pictures of his neighbor hood and than using Agisoft Metashape and coverts that into a 3D Model.

The other Software very similar to Drone Links is the Drone Deploy which is the pro Version of running missions autonomously with the same purpose in mind. The only difference is that if the there is a disconnect the Drone Link will quit the mission and need to be restarted where as the Drone Deploy will continue the mission and than return home.

So imagine getting a 1000 Pictures taken and than it lands and you put a new battery in and it takes off right back to the same spot and starts with 1001 picture without you doing anything more than changing battery and that is the power of Drone Deploy .

Having drone skills is good and when combined with Software knowledge extremely powerful and a chance to make more money with your mapping skills .

I have only made 2 plans since buying it yesterday (waiting for wind to die down here) but I would think it's from the home point...as much as I really hope I'm wrong.
May I ask which plan you choose form Dronelink? I am seriously looking to get one of the plans. Thank you.

Hi is this all server based, is there any stand alone element on the computer/device. I'd hate for my money to vanish if this venture goes tits up in 6 months.

I bought the Basic option but learned yesterday that it doesn't offer AGL so I'll prolly upgrade to Premium...I fly in a hilly/mountainous desert area and have always wanted AGL since the elevation can change drastically in a short amount of time.
It would be very cool to take off flying low and automatically ascend/descend at full speed in sports mode...but I gotta feeling I'm asking too much from it ?

man, maybe it's the whole forum, blocked. Time to find a more welcoming bunch that tolerates simple questions. It's a shame a few bad apples can scare off potential visitors and newcomers.
I agree. When a question is asked, answer the question! If you don't know, don't respond. Or, if you want to offer a location, such as was given, simply say, you don't know the answer to the question posed, but perhaps going to the website given, might help.
It is all in the responce.

¡Buena suerte!
