That is all... Carry on...

This will definitely have a relatively positive impact on the publics outlook of Drones. FAA Regulatory Standards surely will effect the already slow shrinking freedom of sUAS Flight Ops . Hobbyist will suffer.. However it is the nature of the Beast and the Sign of the Times. I believe Amazon will do well as they Pioneer this endeavor. The FAA has got much to figure out. I support this decision eventhough it brings complexity to sUAS Flight Operations.
That is all ... Carry on...

Although it may be approved I guess I foresee a lot of kinks to be ironed out for practical application and quite a bit more technology advancements to achieve this at a cost positive investment for them.

When I first read this story, my first thought was..... "what will happen to the hobbyist rc/drone pilot?"

I am sure the full implementation of drone deliveries is still a ways down the road, but.... what WILL happen to the hobbyist rc/drone pilot?
