Sounds like you got a bad batch. I have had none of the issues you describe.

Same here, I have a pile of dual, arcII, and some spark (bubble type) strobes, and all work as they did when new.
Very odd seeing issues as mentioned.

The only thing I can be critical of with FHT is order accuracy.
2 orders with them (sent to US contact and forwarded to me by post), both were wrong, and it's too difficult to fix being so far away.

Still use them every now and then for a flight where it might be easier to lose sight of the M1P, and glad to have them if needed.
