Fly-away offer with 15% discount. Discrimination in Deutschland ?

I was flying too low with my Mavic 2 Zoom. Dropped in the river and could,t recover it. My fault . They analyzed the data and that prooved it. Now I just got a Fly-away offer with 15% discount. From what I understand is that in most places on this planet you get 30% off.
I´m over 70 years old and can unfortunately afford only one DJI drone per year.. so that hurts a bit.
Any experience with Fly-away offers ?? Danke for an answer.

That's unfortunate. The 30% discount is generally offered when DJI are unable to determine the cause of the crash. If they determined that it was clearly pilot error then I'm surprised that they offered any discount at all - 15% in that situation seems fairly generous.

Sorry to hear about your crash and subsequent loss of your aircraft.

As @sar104 stated once they confirmed it was "Operator Error" it's surprising they offered any discount.

Since you already have a controller etc you might find a "Gently Used" aircraft only for sale in your country/region. Or you could also sell your existing controller and use that $$ to help offset the purchase price on a new kit.
