Flying in Norway, Sweden and Denmark

From my experience I didn't had problem flying it in Denmark.. I didn't acquire some certificate of some sort..

Thanks! How long ago was that? The article from that lawyer in the link seemed to be from January, though it seemed like Denmark may have been in the process of revamping their drone laws

Hi, I'm new to MAVIC and I'm traveling to Denmark, Iceland and maybe Amsterdam and Norway... I'm bringing MAVIC with me but read an article about restriction and online test in order to get the certificate... just want to ask if you have obtained the required certificate online before traveling to Denmark? also, have you come across any issues while traveling to Norway or Denmark?

New rules in Sweden from 1 of February 2018.

I am going on a trip on Norway, Sweden and Denmark next month and will be bringing along my mavic pro with me. I wish to know several things..

1. Can I bring it along in a hand carry bag inside the plane? (SAS Airlines- Scandinavia Airlines) Or is it better to put it on a checked-in luggage to avoid hassle?
2. Does their rules and regulations for flying/bringing drones in their country all the same?

Cheers.

May I ask how you got on in Norway? I'm going in August this year

Just to summarize/comment on drone rules & regulations/possibilities in Norway, from another Norwegian MP owner (since January), quoted from Civil Aviation Authority - Norway. In general you should find our R&R less strict compared to many other countries. No registration nor certificate required for a MP sized drone used for recreation. Here they are:
Top 5 rules:
1: The drone should always be kept within your sight and operated in a mindful and considerate manner. Never fly near accident sites.
2: Never fly closer than 5 km from airports unless you have explicit clearance to do so.
3: Never fly higher than 120 meters off the ground. (Note: You may "climb" most mountains in the fjords as long as the vertical height above ground is less than 120m. Up to the MP ceiling of 500m above Home Point)
4: Never fly over festivals, military facilities or sporting events. Keep a distance of 150 meters. (Note: 50m if subject is individuals/small group of people, cars and buildings outside your control)
5: Be considerate of others privacy. Take note of the rules concerning photos and films of other people.

I personally think this is a very reasonable drone policy - but I believe there's one more rule to attach; my belief is that you can't be over the legal alcohol limit either, which is a good idea so if you've been drinking the night before, you might care to leave the drone at home.
