Forced, sneaky updates preventing flying

I fly a March 2017 manufactured Mavic Pro using firmware and DJI Go from the same period with an iPad mini4.
The iPad tells me that there is an update to Go4 and Go4 tells me that there is a firmware update and an NFZ update. I just ignore them all and go and fly. On iOS you are only told about updates, you don’t have to install them.

Get a dedicated tablet just for DJI GO4. Keep it offline after side loading an earlier version of firmware and or DJI GO4.

This is one thing that I liked about my Typhoon H. It was a closed system. No phoning home.

roger that. i have the samsung s-2 8" for the main tablet and a iconia 7 with dji go on it for when that fails.
