We found this drone months ago in New York and have not been able to find the certificate holder, Kevin Marshall, via this website. Maybe you know him? Facebook no help, there are dozens of Kevin Marshalls. Would like very much to return this to owner. Thank you for your help.
A label on the drone also provides UAS Certificate number and issue date.

Thanks for pointing out the typo. The drone was found in Vermont. Has been sitting on our desk since the summer 2017. Would really like to find the owner, Kevin Marshall.

This is why we should put or FAA registration number and contact info in the battery compartment of the Mavic.

If it is so urgent to give the drone back simply phone to all those Kevin Marshalls you found. Chances are good he's one of them and I am sure he will give the money back you spend for the calls...

He says there are dozens on FB - not that he had their phone numbers. Contacting them via FB is much faster.

All he needs to do is write one letter and send it to each one. It should take 10 minutes.

And how do you know the drone belongs to him, and what is this "certificate holder" you speak of? can you post a picture of it?

Ask him things that only the owner would know eg
* The serial number of the drone of battery
* if there are any distinguishing features of the drone
* What was the last things photographed or filmed
* What size and brand of micro SD card were used (less reliable)
