Happy Tuesday fellow Droners. Glad to find this site. I've had my drone for several months - had no clue what to purchase so initially took the slow route and purchased lesser brand devices that I could learn and return if needed. My need is photos/videos so I finally settled on MA2. Anyway, the only thing missing is the Zoom feature which unfortunately some people misrepresent being part of MA2 via YouTube so I will be trading up to the Mavic Zoom n 2022. Also, currently setting a date for study/take 107 license, as well as continuing to learn the great features of the device. Anyone with any tips in flying in Newport Beach, Laguna Beach, etc. will be appreciate. I have already registered with LAANC and look forward to being fully prepared as well as being in compliance once I launch.

Video zoom is available on the Mavic Air 2 but not photo zoom. The Mavic 2 Zoom is at end of life so you will be able to pick one up for a reasonable price next year for more effective zoom function or step up to the new Mavic 3 which will be replacing it.
