Hello from Minnesota USA and welcome to the Forum....There's a lot of good quality teaching/feedback going on in here. Just ask, and the experts are great on providing good sound advice for you to apply and use... Remember to always Fly safe, Fly Smart and keep the drone in sight.

Hello,

Just picked up my old boys mavic pro 2. Flying from Falkirk area, anyone nearby recommend any places to start off, had a couple test flights but need a bit more practice to get some good shots.

Cheers all.
Welcome. You are fortunate as Scotland has some of the best and most dramatic landscapes in the world. I look forward to seeing some of your photos and videos.

Well you're pretty well spoiled for choice. The Kelpies, the Wheel and canal on your doorstep, into Edinburgh for Arthur's Seat and Old Calton Cemetery. Off down the road to the coast at Musselborough then home to Callender House and park. So many great places to fly - enjoy

Would love to fly the kelpies as 10 minutes from my house, unfortunately busy area and near m9 road, I’ve done the certification to be operator but not 100% clued up on rules yet, I was under the impression unless I get A2 CofC I can’t really fly anywhere that would have people nearby. Any uk guys give me a better understanding?
