Hello!
Just got my MA flymore combo in red! Flew it over a lake near Mt. Rainier today and the footage turned out awesome (it was sunny!). The only problem was my memory was deemed too slow by the drone. Surprising becuse I used same card in my GoPro Hero 4 black.
Anyhoo, any recommendations for sd card? And any general tips? Total newbie here.

@Slowcaptain I use a SanDisk Extreme Pro. It is one of the recommended cards - SanDisk Extreme PRO microSDHC Memory Card Plus SD Adapter up to 100 MB/s, Class 10, U3, V30, A1

You probably know about the Mavic Air Downloads site. It has all the updates to software and documentation. The User Manual will have the specs for the SD card. A slow processor on your display or running apps could cause a slow down.

This is the speed spec from the Mavic Pro / Platinum User Manual. Check your manual to see the spec for the MA.
The Mavic Pro comes with a 16 GB Micro SD card and supports Micro SD cards up to 64 GB. A UHS-1 Micro SD card is recommended due to their fast read and write speeds allowing you to save high-resolution video data.

I suggest you read the Users Manual and ensure you know it inside and out.

Have fun, fly safe

Larry

Hello from Puyallup! Sandisks work great. Look for the number 10 in a little circle (class 10), the # 1 in the letter u (uhs 1).
What lake did u fly over?

Hello! Alder lake/ Nisqually river near Eatonville. I think they call it Rocky Point Campground. I will upload some photos today :)
Where do you fly usually? Renton absolutely sucks as far as flying zones are considered.

Weirdly, the manual does not state maximum limit of the sd card. Or I could not find it. It does say this “A UHS-1 microSD card is required due to the fast read and write speeds...”. I reckon UHS-3 is better than UHS-1 as almost all the recommended cards seem to be UHS-3. I could be wrong, please correct me.

There are a few places around Puyallup, esp. on the road to Orting where you can see Rainier. Out around Bonney Lake & Buckley there are some picturesque farms with Rainier for a background. If you're within 5 miles of the Puyallup airport, call and ask to speak with Lissa Smith. I arranged to text a notification to her whenever I fly. Orting is also interesting around the river, much of it within 5 miles of P. airport. As you know, Eatonville has good areas, there's a number in the Hover app that you need to call the airport there. I've talked to someone there who wants a phone call each time I fly nearby. Happy flying! Maybe I'll see you around the area sometime. The photo below had some help from Photoshop to make the mountain appear closer, taken on the way to Orting by a UW research farm.

Bringing up an old thread, sorry for that. Just wanted to share my first video. I am no expert videographer nor I intend to be. It is just me trying to make already great videos from MA slightly better.
