SAR: I'm surprised there isn't a reference to this in Part 107. Now I'm wondering if Part 121 addresses this as surely, the Feds do not want UAS operations in the PCA. And obviously, no commercial drones have a transponder with Mode C altitude reporting.

Drones are explicitly excluded from Mode C requirements.

This would work nicely at 6km.

Preheat the battery as hot as possible, and cover it with closed cell foam or some sort of insulating layer.
Hi great idea! are the low noise props better then the normal one for high altitude?
And did you tested it at 6000m?
