My God, what are you - 10? Childish bickering over NOTHING!

I learned very little about the metric system in grade school, but thought "Multiples of ten, hmmm, that's so easy, why doesn't America use it?

The more I've learned it since, I still wonder why the US didn't change to metric >60 YEARS AGO!

Learn it, or not... but get over it f'chrissakes...

Very true. I have just watched a video on YouiTube where a guy in the States was turning down the ends of some 8mm rod and threading it to 5/16" - why not just use 8mm nuts!
