It'll most likely be fine. A lot of people have done that.is that damaging or shorten my gimbal lifetime?
after owning the mavic for about 8 months, today for the first time i forgot to remove the gimbal clamp.. and my first time ever to get the gimbal motor overload warning, is that damaging or shorten my gimbal lifetime?
fiuh.. thank you.. i hope i won't forgot about it again in the future..It'll most likely be fine. A lot of people have done that.
glad to know, since this is my really first experience about this after owning it quite a while.. so yeah, i'm a bit paranoid about it.. hahahaha...I have done this half a dozen times in the early days of having my Mavic and this has not had any adverse effects on my gimbal.
yes, i surely will attach something to remind me in the future.Every time you leave it the gimbal lock on when starting your drone, it will shorten your gimbal life. Maybe not noticeably, but it will surely have an adverse effect on its longevity. Best to buy a "Remove before flight" reminder such as the one below. I like this pennant to cover my power button, attached at one point in the front with velcro, so there's no way to power up the Mav without removing the gimbal lock.:
