Make me an offer. I can't use them in the US, All they did was put an Amber "Enhanced Transmission not available in this region" message. The only way to stop it was removing the Dingle in the Aircraft. Photos attached and I can provide a macro shot of all the info on the dongles, IMEI, etc. 20250610_170248(1).jpg1000010848.jpg1000010849.jpg

You are lucky but those only work in China because it uses a e-sim.
I agree that the tech has regional limitations, yet in the US Occusync 4+ is fully permitted by the FCC. - yet they are unlikely to permit the combined 4G-Occusync 4+ "enhanced transmissions" , but e-sim, tech works everywhere -

DJI says the following:

The DJI Cellular Dongle (4G) supports enhanced transmission in a wide range of European countries and also in Australia and New Zealand. Specifically, it works in Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, Croatia, Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Ireland, Italy, Latvia, Liechtenstein, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Malta, Monaco, Netherlands, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, and the United Kingdom. While it's also functional in Australia and New Zealand, the list of officially supported countries on DJI's website may not include these regions.

But for that e-sim to work you will need to buy a contract with Dji and you can't outside of China. For the Dongle 2, you can only renew the contract in China and EU. Where did you find that transcript you posted above? I never seen that before.

I am also getting the “Enhanced Transmission not available in this region" message from my Mavic 4 that came from Hong Kong.

I can not turn it off and I assume I also have a cell dongle in my aircraft, where is it located and how do you remove it? There is a small hatch on the back bottom of the aircraft, does it just pop open or do I need to remove the two screws?

Yes, remove the screws and unplug the dongle and cables to it.

Thanks. Aside from the annoying message, is there any issue with not removing it?

Probaby not, but I couldn't handle the bright Yellow/Amber message box. 1st I shut every setting off, NG, Pulled the one from the RC Pro 2, still NG. When pulled from Aircraft you then have what a North America model is - or would be if it was actually being sold here, lol. When you pull the 2 outer connectors (antennas) you can clip them in by bending the wire a tad, and snapping them into the prongs on outer edges of compartment. The middle 2 are power, held in a plastic bridge, should also snap down to keep it in place, though mine refused to snap, so I just centered it and replaced the cover and 2 screws. Definitely no sense keeping it running, drawing power, however tiny the draw is. Plus you will save some 10 grams of weight. Should provide extra fl8ght time - I clocked 1.6 seconds more on my very next flight! Lol!

It may be possible to have one in the controller only and activate it on local cell provider to get data access to controller without hotspot to phone. Did this with the DJI Dongle 2 on RC Pro remote. I would be interested in one of these if reasonable to test out and share details if I can get to work. If your interested in selling one and shipping to me in Canada I would be game to spend some time to work on seeing if I can get it provisioned for data access with my cellular carrier and share info if successful.

Sure. Sorry for late reply. I hadn't been checking back lately. While it's possible you could provision it on the controller it's not really what it's designed for. I think you might be better served buy a portable hotspot that's always on if you want to keep your phone out of the mix. But if you think it's worth testing I could sell you one for a reasonable cost. I have no use for them personally I would like to see somebody get some value from them or one in this case. Make me an offer what you think it's worth to you. If I make a few bucks and I can cover shipping I'm fine with that.
