Lake Eyre, outback South Australia

Cheers Mudgey,
Did it play in 1080 for you ?
Sometimes it plays back in as little as 480, looks awful.
I think it does this when I’m away and looking on my phone with crap wifi.
I’m away for a good 3 weeks.

Crystal clear 1080. Beautiful detail in the foor prints and birds (What were they? They looked like seagulls)

Glad the playback was as I shot.

Would have liked time to fly a bit more there, get some more shots out a bit more, but time was short, had a slow drive out to WIlliam Ck again, only 85km or so but arrived after dusk.

Yes seagulls.
Amazing how they know ok to go out there, it’s about 475km from the coast.
So too pelicans when they are at the lake in their thousands, but hadn’t made the journey at the time for some reason.

There were lots of banded stilts up there too, but kept high to avoid disturbing them.
With the seagulls, ha ha nothing bothers them.

Heading out there this month, after looking at your vid, cant wait to shoot my own..well done

You’ll love it, the colours are spectacular at dawn / dusk.
Plenty to see up the Oodnadatta Tk, and MANY fantastic places to film by drone.
Lake Eyre is Nat Pk, but outback is one place no one is bothered too much if you fly considerately.
Usually very few people anywhere nearby.
