Ok lost my drone on RTH. Lost connection and it might have flown away. DJI Go4 “lost my drone” says it’s at home point. Airdata indicates it carried on for about 1.5km away. Conflicting information. Panic sets in. Any tips?

Section 3, post the phantomhelp report link, or post the txt file here.

Like that?

Yep.
No other logs for the same flight ? Before ?

That one started 6 minutes into your flight . . . was the home point on the map in the flight report the actual home point where you were ?

Lots of errors here obviously.
It started auto landing close to home (when RTH was activated), but then the yaw error took it away, thankfully slowly most of the time, but looks like it lost signal connection at the end, while still trying to auto land.

Someone with log reading experience might be able to tell if it might have tried to immediately descend when it lost connection, but if the yaw error might have stayed, they will have to project where it might have come down, to enable you to have a place to start your search.

Why did you left stick up (take it so high) above the home point up to the 10 minute mark ?
It went into auto land when you presumably pushed the RTH button, but descent was so slow.
Then the yaw errors half a minute later saw the drone start to drift to the SW, compass errors too, and I saw an IMU warning in there around that time.

It probably would have landed in that park area if you hadn't gone back onto the left stick up and taken it from 30' or so altitude back up to 95' or so.

Up and down a little from there until the end of the flight when it would have continued to auto land and yaw error drift.
At least that all seems consistent.

My guess looking at progress is it might not have got out over the ocean there, but it might need some extra special analysis by @slup or @sar104 for the projection.

Good luck !!

Do you think it all comes down to a compass error. You may see in more detail in the logs before you took off. Im guessing the whole system including RTH & auto land get confused if the compass and IMU disagree. It then just drifted off. Just guessing.
