Mavic and iPhone charging simultaneously

So my iPhone battery is pretty bad and depletes pretty quickly, my Mavic came yesterday and my first flight was 10 minutes because of my phones rubbish battery life.

Would this Belkin adapter work to plug the TX into the 1 lightning port and a portable battery bank into the 2nd lighting port, so that my phone chargers at the same time as using the TX.
