The screen is a CS screen .. ultra high brightness...
Thanks, that's what I thought it would be.To be clear, it's equivalent to the High Brightness model of CrystalSky @ a max of 1,000 nits NOT the Ultra Brightness of 2,000 nits.
Got the same email, shows it will arrive on Monday not Friday as scheduled.Well, my shipping status just turned to this! What the? Looks like I may not be getting mine on Friday after all.
Have you guys that ordered checked your status? Are you seeing something similar?

A bit like when DJI list 'low-noise' props for the M2. Turns out they're the standard ones! It’s been called “ultra” but I think it’s the 1000 nits screen....

Nice one. A very good solution. You may like this mounting bracket I found in European Amazon (specifically Spain) but I guess some will order it soon in other countries. It is almost as seeing a smart controller, I will provide you two links and some pictures.

Here is an alternative to buying new smart controller. I bought a 5.5 CrystalSky and the mount. The mount will not fit the M2 RC. I have modified the RC to accept the DJI mount. I saved about $100 over the cost of the Smart Controller and I have 2 micro SD slots and all 5 of the side buttons. I enclosed some pics. Yes, you can reorient the screen.I saw that mount ... problem for me with it was that it is upside down... does screen turn ?
I got one that a guy in California 3D printed that fit great and was oriented right from ETSY. Com.
Sold that set up few weeks ago when smart controller came out ...
The New Controller can fit in the Flymore combo Bag, for me, I find it a bit pricey, but it does have a few good bells and whistles, I'm currently using a CrystalSky monitor with my Mavic 2 Pro, the controller for me is just one less item to carry around since it incorporates a monitor and controller together as a single unit, I placed an order for the new controller, and per FedEx, it should arrive on Monday 01/27, I'll post my thoughts on the new controller after I take it through a few flights, have ordered a screen protector, just need to find a decent storage case for it since the fly more bag doesn't offer that much protectionSorry guys but i dont really understand where we can find the positive point of that new controler...
The mavic drones are foldable and built to be carried , in the smallest space as possible...but this new controler seems to be bigger than the drone itself!!
Maybe the screen is bright enough to fly under hard sun , or maybe autonomy is improved, or you will not need to choose a phone/tablet that can run djigo without any bugs or freezes anymore...?? Is that positive enough to ignore portability?
For me , portability(and quality as well) is why I bought a mavic...this new controler is a crap for me...
I get it but you’re forgetting about all the other crap you need to be able to have a crystalsky monitor
ie:extra batteries,charger,wires,mount.....
I had separate case just for all that stuff ... with smart controller I can fit it in the case with my uav!
I'm using the Freewell cases for my CrystalSky 5.5 and 7.9 Ultra, I chose Freewell because the cases also store the battery and battery charger, they also have enough clearance to close with the CrystalSky Hoods attached to the monitors if wantedWhat kinda case r u using ?
Got the same exact thing, my Smart controller was suppose to arrive on Friday 01/25, I'll be getting it on Monday 01/28, I though it was just Me that was getting that, feel much better now my latest Status shows that my controller is in Oakland, CA, so Monday should be no issue, just need to make sure someone is at home to sign for the packageGot the same email, shows it will arrive on Monday not Friday as scheduled.
