Mini 3 Pro - Is it RID Compliant With The Small Battery?

The last post I recall reading on the Mini 3 Pro and RID was that with latest firmware and the small (sub-250 gram) battery, it would not transmit RID.
Is this still (or was it ever) the case?
 
looks like the mini 3 has a "switch" activated by the BMS possibly While the MINI Pro is turned on with the Drones firmware and is always on. If you are flying part 107 the standard battery and the required light would probably put you over the limit. Why do you ask?

Wow, if that's true, then it kinda defeats the whole purpose of getting a sub-250g drone to bypass the Remote ID requirement. I wonder why DJI decided to make the M3P broadcast Remote ID full-time.
