I just placed an order for the basic Mini 5 Pro. I vaguely recall watching a Youtube video saying its battery is compatible with the Mini 4 (and Mini 3). Can anyone definitively confirm? So stoked regardless.
Saw a video where the pilot put the 5 battery in a mini 4 drone. Started up but wouldn’t fly. Gave an error message. He then put a mini 4 battery in a mini 5 drone, took off and flew ok. Have heard not recommended thou.
Same size, same shape, different weight, different voltage, different power output. So right but so wrong. There is at least one report of a drone losing power in flight and requiring repair while using a mini 3 pro battery.

Thanks for replying. I have watched more Youtube videos on the subject and they were about 75% no problem to 25% you might have issues. I will safely test it once I receive it, but I will not take chances in actual use scenarios. I plan on taking the Mini 4 as a backup anyway the same way I took the Mini 3 as a backup.
LongRifle any issues getting this drone sent to the United States?
I’d heard that was the case but hadn’t tried again lately to order one. Did struggle to get the DJI Osmo Nano here in the states and now replacement parts and accessories are nearly impossible to get. Apologies if this is off topic.
