My ideal A3 and Mini4P scenario...

Created a unique A2S FMC package with the DJI RC from my Mini3P, sold on eBay. Plan was to then replace with an Air 3 RC2 FMC. For various reasons, delayed, then the Mini 4 Pro hit the streets.

So now my plan is to get one or the other A3 and Mini 4 Pro with RC2, then purchase drone-only and batteries for the other one.

It's Malaysia, so I'm not inclined to order there, but hopeful A3 drone-only may be available in the not too distant future in China or the US? The Malaysian site lists for RM 3,999 = ~U$840.

I was thinking of doing the same thing, but wound up getting the controller too because it uses the new DJI O4

I plan to get the DJI RC2 with one or the other when I'm ready to pull the trigger. It'll be the A3 if there still isn't a viable drone-only option for either one.

I don't expect that yet for the Mini 4P, too early. However the Mini3P became available drone-only relatively soon after release, I think it was about 4 months.
