No other way to downgrade Mavic 2 firmware from 0790 to 0770?

I tried that already, but the ARB # of 790 is 2 and 770 is 1. So no way from there.

Then if that has changed with the FW then there is no way to downgrade unfortunately

You have almost answered your question yourself.
You are aware that there is now data in your drone that prevents downgrade of your firmware.
If you could change that data then you could downgrade the firmware.
The problem is that in order to change the data you need access to the root and you do not have access to the root.

If you search the internet, you will find core boards for sale at a premium price, with root access that would allow you to downgrade.
However if you swap the core board then you will effectively have a different drone.
