Had a decent run today @beanbubba I am submitting this MODIFIED CLASS flight for consideration to be placed on the leader board.
thanks bro it was the hobby star. It maybe a little better than 2 PT4200s so far but its close . Still got to work on my settings too

Oh, that was the Hobbystar 8000! Although, your turnaround was at 63% and mine was at 62% (you had a nice tailwind on the way out). It looks like you had a headwind all the way back and I don't believe that the Airdata is reporting properly (mph)! 37% out to turnaround, 58% back to Homepoint! I think the battery done better than you think!

Yes sir I believe you're right the wind is not correct . Also I've had more efficient runs with stronger wind with just trying new stuff didn't work well

Another great flight today! I had some head wind on the way back but all-in-all, everything went well. Same as last flight AUW 1485, AC Firmware v.0100, some parameter mods (max_bat_power 600), I did warm the batteries before takeoff.

mlash, did you want this flight on the leaderboard?

My day job has kept me side lined for a while but was able to squeeze in a test flight tonight. But it started raining and winds picked up mid flight. However, was able to triple confirm the heavy auto land phenomenon and it only manifests during a hover. This flight was @ 1586 grams and I saw zero evidence of any weight related issues UNTIL I came in to land and auto land kicked in while I was lining up my landing spot.

PS - this was with dual TP4400 LiHv's + factory battery. Once I stopped forward flight, these alerts popped up:

Nice flight[emoji106]

What kind of distance were you getting using 2 PT4200?
I haven’t had an opportunity to test my 2 PT4200 against my HS8000.

this one is the 4200s different parameters than when I tried HS these work better I believe. My 1st 50k flight was with the PT as well

Looking at both flight data it looks like though PT4200 may give better distance. At the bottom end of the battery power you seem to be getting roughly 1000 ft for every 1% of battery. Your PT4200 flight stopped at 15%, at 50k, which makes me believe if you flown to 55K you probably would have landed at 5%.

Of course this is all just me speculating since the parameters, air temperature, wind direction and speed were different for the two flights.

Hopefully one day when the weather halfway decent and I’m not working I will get a chance to do some testing.[emoji52]

You got a very favorable tail wind on the return that strengthened on the way back home. Remember this data point when comparing the other setup.

They are really close PTs seems to start better but HS seems to make better consistent footage during flight. also mounting is not the same an wind affects them differently

Yeah that makes sense i ordered some tp4500s so I can do 3 flights during 1 trip but they said 3 weeks before shipping smh they are slow
