Remote ID SN on A2s not acceptable to FAA….unless I’m missing something.

For the DJI Air 2S, this have been compliant for a long time now so it is officially accepted by the FAA. See the FAA DoC below which basically means the drone is RID compliant giving it standard RID via a software update since it didn't launch that way. Are you simply asking for the firmware because you cannot find it at DJI.com or are you asking how to enter your RID details at FAA.gov?

After my air 2s was updated I tried to register in drone zone and put in my RID serial number and all I get is invalid. Any ideas?

Hello everbody I am being asked to provide the Remote ID of my Air 2S but I am not sure what exactly it is. Is it the aircraft SN? Is it the aircraft name? Any help will be appreciated. Thanks, Pablo.

The info in the other thread was very helpful. I had kinda forgotten about the whole remote id thing. Glad to get it all taken care of at dronezone.

I had an online chat with DJI, gave them my craft s/n and reemote s/n and they provided mewith remote ID # to enter at DRONEZONE. All is well.

If you have the RC Pro it's listed in the ABOUT section where your S/N is. Looks like they've added a separate line that says REMOTE ID now and that number works on the FAA site.
