I have named one, Phoenix, a bought as scrap Mini 2 that wasn't as badly damaged as the original owner thought, I reshelled it and it is now flying perfectly.

Yup. Well, one anyway. With the Wetsuit and Rescue Jacket on thebPlatinum Pro I nicknamed it Plum Crazy.

I named my Tellos 'Buzzy' and 'T-bird'... no name for the Phantom or Mavic... yet

My wife had similar names for my JJRC Beast drone that flew through the kitchen window and hit her in the leg! No injuries to anything but the window and her attitude toward being near my drones.

Can't remember where but somewhere in the registration process, FAA I think, it has a spot that you have to "aircraft name" if I remember. Anyway at the time "Blackbird" seemed to pop into the mental picture.
