SCAM: Used Drones re-packaged and sold as new?

One source of new drones for sale on Craigslist is Best Buy Credit. People with marginal credit can go buy a drone on a card and resell it on Craigslist for quick cash. Not smart but it is happening.

I bought a GPU 2 years ago from someone who obviously did something similar, came brand new with original receipt showing it was bought a few days earlier on a financing plan.

Good point...but that would be the case if it were factory refurbed as well, no?

No, I bought a factory refurb and it had to be activated.
