Service station attendants who would put fuel in your vehicle and clean the windshield / windscreen.
A friend of mine had that job and didn't care for the term "gas pumper" or "fuel jockey."
It looked better on his résumé of being a petroleum transfer engineer for the Shell Oil Corporation.

@MA2 317 Yeah I remember when dustbin men collectors here were known as "Dust Bin Men" Now they're "Domestic Waste Disposal Operatives , The World's gone mad !!!!
And a Paramedic of ours who was useless on front line duties, taken off them and made "Logistics Controller" with 2 pips on his shoulders and a pay rise ??? Use of a company vehicle with free fuel, road tax and covered by the services block insurance policy, so, I hear you ask, what was his job as a "Logistics Controller" ??
