They don't have just the drone available yet though, just the combo packages.

Well, I did it, pulled the trigger! Avata Pro-View (Goggles 2) combo package. This will be my first dip into the FPV world.

Does anyone know if the Goggles 2 are compatible with the Mavic 3? I thought I saw a thread to that effect but can’t find it now. That would definitely make the Avata a must-have.

The Avata FAQ shows they are only compatible with the Avata.

The Avata only package is now available here in the DJI store. It's currently shipping in 10 business days (sooner than the Goggles 2 package).

Ordered the Avata only on Friday, checked today and was told by DJI chat that it will ship within 10 days.
Keeping my fingers crossed...

I ordered the avata only, as i just picked up a used fpv package with the fly more combo and motion controller, figured for the price of the avata pro combo and having to buy the fpv controller why not get the fpv and avata for same price. Just wont have the newer goggles.

I tried to get the FPV R/C, but it appears to be sold out everywhere.

You will need to "sign-up" as a new member, but you can use the same username and password.
