Like so many others, I anxiously counted down the days to January 23rd and the big DJI announcement. When I saw the leaked photos a day ahead, I knew I would probably buy one. I didn't make it 15 minutes into the announcement when I selected the Onyx Fly More Combo and made my purchase.
Later that week, I came across a thread on this forum that said DJI OC had them in stock. For about 30 minutes, I was the buyer of two Mavic Airs - but it didn't take long for my cancellation at DJI to come through and my Mavic was on the way from Costa Mesa to Missouri ... a long four day shipping journey!
I unboxed it today and took a few shots I thought I'd share. Having been a Mavic Pro owner, I can tell you that there's no mistaking the Mavic lineage of this amazing new bird!
Packaging is really nice
