I have a Verizon Jetpack hotspot... and I pop the sim card from that
into my 8Pro and have no problems.. ie it works.
I also have a Netgear Nighthawk (hotspot) with ATT...

I just test the AT&T sim card in the 8Pro and it works.

So I don't know if both the Verizon and the AT&T being provisioned
from their respective original "hotspot" device(s) permitted them to work.

As on the Tripltek website... tell Verizon or AT&T
"ask AT&T to provide a SIM card activated for a Samsung Note 20"
Yes, all TRIPLTEK models work as a SMARTPHONE to receive and place calls.Sometimes the T8 PRO shows with the incorrect information on the AT&T list of devices. You can ask AT&T to provide a SIM card activated f

here is the same note for Verizon....

Verizon is pretty expensive... you might look into ATT prepaid
provided you have service with ATT in your area.
I found ATT $55 month prepaid data 100gb the cheapest and best.\

I have found no difference in quality of service ie: data download/upload
and I go to many remote areas as I am totally on the road.
T-Mobile is the worst in remote areas (yes I have a tmobile phone/data also).
Forget about those "cell service coverage maps."
The better way is to use cellmapper.net
For example for a location using ATT...
(you change the provider on the left column)
CellMapper is a crowd-sourced cellular tower and coverage mapping service.

In my experience.... Verizon and ATT the signal carries further distances.
Thus even if there is a tower further away... you get decent connection.
