Late November 2017 MPP. Shortly after receiving it, I (errantly, in retrospect), "updated firmware", to V.01-04-0100. I just noticed the button to "restore to factory defaults" below the current firmware and the one possible update (0200).

In this case, what would clicking that do? I thought you couldn't roll back firmware on 04-0100, but don't want to risk screwing anything up without some advice from the pros.

It doesn’t roll back firmware, it just reverts all the settings to factory defaults.

It does just what it says. It re-sets all changeable settings back to the way it came out of the box. Camera, gimbal, rth altitude, max altitude, etc. Everything that can be adjusted back to defaults. Has nothing to do with firmware, or rolling back.

Thanks. Very intuitive having it on the "Firmware Update" page....NOT.
