I am considering purchasing a Mav 2 Pro but have been reading about the proposed FAA rules for remote ID. Since the current Mav 2 Pro does not have remote ID would you recommend waiting until DJI releases one that will comply with the new regulations? Will the current drones be limited to flying 400' from their operator?

Lack of batteries, props, and parts are what will make M2P obsolete!

Great - another YT video where they take 10 minutes to say what could probably be written in a short paragraph. Summary?
This was back in the commenting section on the sUAS rules earlier this year.

They kind of indicated that the FAA isn't keeping its' head straight when it comes to model aircraft, manned aircraft, and the unmanned or drone aircraft. The paradigm shift has them seing double in places where things are mutually exclusive or not feasible.

This video to the FAA from the same group is probably better on content.

They're recommending just using something similar to LANNC. But if you're auto authorization at some altitude, why do you even need LANNC? They're more on the model amateur classic R/C more than drone/quads, but have GA backgrounds.
