Since my (2nd) MPP arrived 2 weeks ago the weather hasn’t been great.

Took it out today and suddenly was in a wind that the drone wasnt flying back from. I dropped altitude but it was stationary. Luckily was only 150m away so cris-crossed the wind and landed it

The app not only had the usual high wind box but the top left said strong wind

At what wind speed should i be forgetting to fly?

Where you in sport mode? I personally don’t fly in more than about 15mph but the craft can handle more in sport mode 20-22 mph

I was in normal mode. That is interesting. I am going next month to the faroe islands and do not want to fly this if it cant get back

Please note that if you intend on flying over water I STRONGLY suggest staying within a decent/retrievable range.

I suggest you download the following apps into your phone or tablet:
1. Wind
2. UAV Forecast (this app can also give you windspeed above ground level)

Also, turning off obstacle avoidance will allow you to fly faster as well.

Make sure you carry you batteries in your carry-on luggage, not checked in luggage. (on your trip to Faroe Is)
