Abu Dhabi 9 Hour Layover

So I'm travelling to Europe for 2 months June - August and I have a 9 hour layover in Abu Dhabi. We have booked a hotel within the airport to stay in so we wont be leaving the airport in that time, just wondering how I go about not getting my Mavic confiscated as I know the drone laws there are very strict and I'm not sure if it will be okay or if security will give me a hard time?

I thought you meant Dubai for a sec which has that ridiculous skyscraper you would top out at 500m about half way up ;(

The emirates look to be pretty sympathetic to drones in general.
